Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Apologizes to Elizabeth Warren over Trump's Pocahontas Remark

Pledges 10 Million Dollars as restitution for insult

SNN - Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, said in a news briefing today, that Canada is very sorry for Donald Trump's racist slur to Elizabeth Warren. “"It is with shame and sorrow and deep regret for the racist Pocahontas slur Donald Trump said to Ms. Warren. Canada prides itself to protect all peoples of the world from insults and bullying, and we should have been there to stop him. We were wrong. We apologize. I am sorry. We are sorry," said Mr. Trudeau.

With tears rolling down his eyes he added, “Canada pledges to earmark 10.5 million dollars as restitution for the injustice experience by Ms. Elizabeth Warren. I further have granted Ms. Warren Canadian citizenship and a refugee tent on the Ontario border as a safe space for her and her family.”

The prime minister also spoke out about past racist comments made against Warren, and other Americans which he described as "obscene". Trudeau added, “I wish to go on record and say that the Liberal Party of Canada issues a strong warning to Mr. Trump that further insults will not be tolerated. We are a strong nation, and diversity is our strength.”

Upon leaving the steps of the Parliament building, Trudeau was mobbed by fans and press alike. As he stepped into his limousine, he looked up at a cameraman and said, “I am a proud feminist.”

This is not the first time Justin Trudeau has stood up against the American President Donald Trump. In response Trump tweeted, “Sorry Loser, but my I.Q. is one of the highest, and Little Potato you know it!”
