Trudeau Patents Selfie Stick Innovation

(SNN) Justin Trudeau has received a patent for an innovation in selfie sticks that automatically edits out "people unimportant to the picture."

"The Selfie Select is what I have been working on instead of showing up for Question Period," he explained. "You think I was just sitting around? No siree! Between this and all those photo spreads for magazines, I hardly have a moment to myself. I might even have to hire another nanny or two. Don't worry, I can get them cheap."

Trudeau is expected to make a sizeable profit from his invention which he says he will donate to his favourite offshore account that his buddy, Paul Martin, set up for the wealthy, young leader.

"Having been in almost as many selfies as Kim Kardashian, It is only natural that I would be attracted to finding ways to improve selfie technology," Trudeau added.

To demonstrate this amazing new innovation, Trudeau shared his entire collection of selfies, all of which showed only himself.

"Here's me with the Queen and here's me with Barack Obama..." he droned on describing each image which consisted of him alone. "That would have been Sophie on the left."
