Kanye West: I Just Want Everyone To Like Me... OK Braw?

(SNN) The 2015 VMA's were the big ticket for Sunday night, and the decline of Western society was there for all to see. Hosted by Miley Cyrus, wearing a nude-esk one piece leotard with bubbles and trashcan lids covering her pink parts, the show declined from that moment on.

Then Taylor Swift presented a Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to Kanye West, and the evening just got weird. As if a five-minute video of West before he was called up was not enough, the pop king of rudeness went into a thirteen minute acceptance speech that had nothing to do with the award. He just wanted all of us to like him more.

Get More:

As West grabbed the microphone, he stood still as select fans cheered with arms raised for almost four long minutes. He soaked it up because he deserved it. He is the Kayne... Braw! In his mind, he is truly a legend, one that would, as he put it, “die” for his fellow artists. Choked up, West raised the microphone again and yelled, “Listen to the kids!". . . . implying 'They love me.. they really love me . . .'

He stood with broken sentences and with stoned eyes told us that "I still don't understand award shows. (long pause) I don't understand how they get five people (long pause) to stand on the carpet for the first time in their life and have the opportunity to be considered a loser." (longer pause)

"I am conflicted braw, I just wanted people to like me more."

This was all after we had to deal with his video intro, which painted him as a suffering servant, with the weight of the world pushing on him. He is Kanye West, and he has a message. He really wants you to love him more, because he may be running for President in 2020.

Video award shows are, after all, nothing less than a chance for the fringe of society to pat themselves on the back; a chance to air out their deep thoughts to the impressionable of the world. It is a chance to reflect and inform the world that we are all going to hell in a hand basket.

But at least Kayne will be liked. That's so important, don't you think?
