Canadian Standard Issues Recall of 'Gusher Flusher' Toilet

Company Responds Quickly With Return Instructions

(SNN) - Officials at bathroom fixture company Canadian Standard have acknowledged that the problem of raw sewage spewing out of the toilet, coating everything and everyone in the vicinity,  was not isolated to a few units. The company has ordered an immediate recall of all “Gusher Flusher” models with specific manufacturing dates. These dates can be located underneath the toilet. The dates of concern are from November of 2011 to May of 2013. It is estimated there are more than 38000 of these defective units in homes and offices throughout Canada.

“We at Canadian Standard are very contrite about this situation and urge everyone to undo the bolts on their toilets and check underneath to make sure the run date isn’t during the period of concern,” said Stanley Steamer, vice-president of communications for the firm. “If you do have a bowl of concern, simply package it up and send it postage due to our offices and we will ensure you get your own toilet back by return mail, all fixed up and, ahem, ready to go.”

The spokesman was quick to add they had nothing to do with the explosion of excrement in the senate recently despite certain similarities. Steamer also added that the problem was caused when they changed suppliers from a Chinese manufacturer and outsourced it to a toilet bowl sweat shop in Wisconsin.
