Prime Minister Harper Tours Willie Nelson's Bus

"Oh I get high with a little help from my friends..."

(SNN) - A far more jovial than usual Stephen Harper appeared before reporters today, shortly after a lengthy meeting with Willie Nelson inside the famous tour bus of the iconic country entertainer.

"I just want to make it very clear,” stated the Prime Minister upon emerging from the vehicle, “That me and… and Willie… no… (snicker) Willie and me… no wait… (he he he)… Willie and I (HAHAHA!) had some really fine… er… discussions. Yeah. That was it. Discussions. They were mighty fine. Man, I haven’t had… heh heh… discussions like that since college! Say… is it lunch time yet?”

When pressed by the corps to reveal the reason behind the visit, Harper responded, “Well, my regular guy in British Columbia… which, by the way has nothing to do with the term “Colombian”… weird, eh? Wow. Uh…. What was I saying? Oh yeah… Willie… Willie… Oh right… well since Willie was in town and since I always wanted to check out Willie’s bus, I figured I could kill two birds with one stone."

The red-eyed government leader then dissolved into helpless mirth.

“HAHAHA! One stone! Get it? Get it? HAHAHAHAHA!” Harper reiterated, as his RCMP security operatives quickly lead him away from the microphone.

The next stop on Wllie's tour is in Nelson, B.C. which was named for the popular entertainer in 1992. Previously it had been named for a different guy named Nelson.
